Founder

Founder and president, Lori D. Lowe, APR, has a Master’s degree from Indiana University in Journalism/Public Relations and a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Communications/Public Relations. She has worked in journalism, marketing communications and public relations since 1993. Lori is an accredited in public relations (APR designation), having passed written and oral exams given by Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), an organization in which she is an active member. She recently served on the board of International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) Indianapolis chapter as the vice president of communications.

Lori received an Award of Excellence from International Association of Business Communicators in June 2001 for collateral materials for Centex Homes during the Excellent Performance in Communication (EPIC) contest. She also received the Golden Web Award in 2001-2002 from International Web Masters & Designers for St.Vincent Sports Medicine Web site content/design.

She received an Award of Excellence in the 2002 Silver Quill Awards sponsored by IABC for the Indiana Spine Group campaign. In 2003, she was awarded the Communicator of the Year (COTY) award by IABC's Indianapolis chapter.

In 2006, Lori and the LoweGroup team received and EPIC award for an Employee Communications Program created for Westview Medical Campus. Also in 2006, they received two awards from the Association of Accounting Marketing: a first place for logo design and a first place for brochure/printed collateral created for Somerset CPAs.

LoweGroup Communications and Westview Medical Campus received three awards in 2006 from MarCom Creative Awards:

• Gold award for “Discover Your Natural Strength” billboard campaign for Westview Healthplex Sports Club
• Platinum award for “Providing Hope, Health & Healing” Westview Medical Campus campaign
• Honorable mention award for The View employee newsletter
